    2008-01-22Meets Expectations
This product is wonderful and performs just as expected. How great it is to put a steak on the grill and walk away and into the house without having to babysit the meat out in the cold. I gave one to my brother and brother-in-law and we all love it!
    2008-01-14EASY TO USE
I highly recommend this product. I looked at a few different models and this one is great! Very easy to use and the remote is nice to have so u can be doing other things while grilling.
2008-01-13Good Product - LONGER RANGE WOULD BE NICE
2 probes are handy, cook two items at same time or read two areas in a large piece of meat. You could also use second probe to monitor oven or smoker temp.

Also has clock, countdown timers etc.

Following are my comments on the ET-7 Wireless Thermometer:
    1) Initial set-up sounds more daunting in the instruction that it actually is. It's pretty much "plug & play"
    2) Thermometer accuracy is not great. Checked it with boiling water and against a very accurate wired thermocouple and it reads high by approx. 5-10°F
    3) Works as advertised except I kept losing the signal from only about 25 feet away, which then requires re-entering the target temps., etc. every time the signal is lost (very frustrating)

Summary: OK for general short-distance remote use. You get what you pay for... personally I will look for something a little more accurate and with a stronger signal

The time of day clock is a little quirky to program, but other functions are very intuitive. Works great.
